Doxn Daze Dachshunds

Scruffy is my show wire hopeful. Right now there is only one other wire, a male, showing in Alaska, so there are no points from the classes. We are hoping that changes soon because Scruffy is one-year-old now and ready for the ring! She is co-owned with Alberta Allen of Cedar Hills Dachshunds .

Luckily there was some wirehair competition this summer, because at the Cook Inlet KC shows August 3, 4 and 5 Scruffy earned her first points. She took Winner's Bitch and Best of Variety under Mr. Larry Kereluck for a 5-point major, Reserve Winner's Bitch under Mr. Robert Forsyth, and Winner's Bitch under Mrs. Gloria Geringer for a 4-point major.

After the Alaska KC show June 29, 2008 Scruffy has 12 points and 3 majors. Thanks to judge Mrs. Lee Canalizo for awarding her Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for a 3-point major.

Scruffy is steadily making her way towards that championship! Thanks to Ms. Nikki Riggsbee for awarding Scruffy Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for 2 points at the Kenai KC show July 13, 2008. One more to go!

Scruffy earned her last point at the Alaska KC on June 26, 2009 from Mr. Joe Tacker, taking Winner's Bitch and Best of Variety. As a special she was also awarded BOV on June 28 under Mrs. Carol Esterkin.
